In this presentation, Copeland will discuss his latest book project, which brings together his new and previously published articles, essays, interviews, and reviews on male cultural practitioners of African descent and contemporary visual engagements with black masculinity. In so doing, he offers a focused yet expansive consideration of identity's evolving import in contemporary culture, both in the United States and abroad.
